Entrepreneurs
It is one of the primary goals of the RRRC to help businesses thrive within the region. As entrepreneurs are seeking to start or expand their business, the RRRC can provide assistance in a variety of ways from developing a business plan and financial projections, providing information on multiple funding and financing programs, developing a financial strategy, providing a link to business resources, and assisting in securing the money to complete a project. We roll up our sleeves and do what it takes to help our business community as we want to encourage an entrepreneurship culture and have high quality jobs available within the region.
Local Food Business Development
Red River Regional Council provides technical assistance to existing and aspiring food businesses, growers, and producers as part of the three-state North Central Regional Food Business Center. The NCRFBC is a new USDA-funded program aimed at growing and strengthening small-and mid-sized producers and other local food businesses, including farmers markets, vegetable and fruit producers, livestock and poultry, honey, agritourism, and home-based and other food-related businesses.
