  • Running targeted ads for entrepreneurs and transitioning military personnel.
  • Providing outreach to cities, counties, and property owners to expand real property website targeting entrepreneurs.
  • Creating a podcast featuring quality of life amenities and career opportunities.

JDA Supports Existing Marketplace for Kids

During the JDA’s December meeting, the Walsh County JDA approved a $3,000 request to support Marketplace for Kids.

The contribution continues the JDA’s long-time support of Marketplace for Kids, a program that helps local students connect their creativity with real career paths in northeast North Dakota. For 12 years, Walsh County JDA has provided funding for materials, printing, and technical support that make Education Days possible in Region 4, where students explore entrepreneurship, technology, and local career options through hands-on classes led by educators and industry professionals.

This investment aligns with Walsh County JDA’s mission by encouraging youth to see their hometowns as places to build businesses, fill critical jobs, and power a strong regional economy.
