21st Century Workforce Development and Youth Entrepreneurship
The purpose of the 21st Century Workforce Development and Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative is to cultivate a new, innovative and highly-skilled workforce by helping strengthen partnerships between the Northeast Manufacturing Group, Career and Technical Education entities, and economic development organizations, exposing students to an array of career opportunities in northeast ND and supporting the 21st Century Workforce Main Street ND pillar.
We have spent six years establishing youth entrepreneurship/career exposure programs for youth in grades 3-12 engaging more than 1,500 students per year from 23 schools throughout Grand Forks, Nelson, Pembina, Ramsey, Steele, Traill and Walsh counties.
