Three County Businesses Approved for FLEX Pace Loans

Three businesses were approved for the Flex Pace loan at the September 9 meeting of the Pembina County Job Development Authority.

As a partner in the Bank of North Dakota’s Flex PACE Program, the Pembina County Job Development Authority offers a deferred loan to serve as the local match required by the Flex PACE interest rate buydown. This buydown reduces the loan’s interest rate, making financing more affordable and accessible for businesses. The program works with local lenders and supports investments in real estate, equipment, and working capital to help businesses grow and thrive within their communities.

Bordertown Retail of Neche is using its Flex PACE loan to purchase a laser cutting machine for metal tubing, giving them a competitive advantage when bidding projects.

Associated Potato Growers of Drayton will use the Flex PACE loan to purchase an optical sorting system. The system will provide advanced imaging to better sort based on various sizes, shapes, colors and textures, significantly reducing their condition costs.

Goneyay, LLC is investing in a new building that will be the new home to Market Society, in Cavalier. While efforts were made to refurbish an old gas station that once occupied in its new location, the building was not found to be salvageable.
