Halvorson Hired as NCJDA Executive Director
Anna Halvorson began her role as the the Nelson County JDA Executive Director in July. She has over 10 years experience in leading skilled nursing and senior living facilities, including her most recent role at Good Samaritan in Lakota.
Anna has been active on local boards, city council, economic development and public health initiatives in ND since 2015. She has supported local fundraising and development projects that strengthen healthcare and community services.
Anna lives in Tolna with her husband, Aaron and their two children – Grace and Thomas.
JDA Supports New Business Startup With Storefront Improvement Grant
During the JDA’s August meeting, a storefront improvement grant was awarded to The Bins Coffee and Spirits for exterior renovations. The Bins Coffee and Spirits will be launching in Lakota within the next year in the former Elaine’s House of Dreams location.
